CROW'S CD HOARD

Come one, come all, and marvel at my tiny hoard. I began collecting around the summer of 2019, and as you can see I have yet to hit the hundreds in terms of numbers. Not an issue though, I only tend to pick up albums I highly enjoy, or new cheap ones I find in thrift stores. I've listed them in alphabetical order by artist's names. Being honest and up front, I have no idea how often I'll actually update this. I guess we'll see! I'd include my Discogs, but for now I'm still keeping that private. Enjoy this page regardless.

Black Sabbath - Paranoid (1970)

One of my first CDs, I am insanely fond of this album. Also one of my first introductions to metal.

Favourite track: Planet Caravan

Blur - Blur (1997)

I remember listening to this with my mom when I was way younger! Song 2 is very special to me because of that.

Favourite track: Song 2

Rating:

Cannibal Corpse - Evisceration Plague (2009)

I got this for way more than I probably should've paid for it. At least it had like an hour of BTS footage.

Favourite track: Evisceration Plague

Rating:

Creed - Human Clay (1999)

I haven't explored much else of Creed's discography, but this is an okay album to sit back to! Gets sort've repetitive at times, like I'm just waiting for a song to end, but it's not bad!

Favourite track: Wrong Way

Rating:

David Bowie - Aladdin Sane (1973)

I fucking adore this album. Every song hits so fucking good, and Bowie has an amazing vocal delivery on every track. Though "Cracked Actor" is a very close runner-up, my personal favourite is "Lady Grinning Soul", the last track on the album, which, fun fact, made me realize I was bisexual. Thanks, Bowie!

Favourite track: Lady Grinning Soul

Rating:

David Bowie - ChangesBowie (1990)

The first Bowie CD I could encounter in person, I got this compilation CD! I realize that I enjoy compilation CDs more than I realize, but the tracklisting in this is hilarious. Starting off with Space Oddity and later all the fun songs come in? Jeez, way to make me cry immediately!

Favourite track: Suffragette City

Rating:

Death Grips - The Money Store (2012)

Got this from a dude off Discogs. It was my first time ordering online.

Favourite track: The Cage

Rating:

Death Grips - Year of the Snitch (2018)

YOTS gives me this calm feeling of dread throughout the entire thing.

To be fair, most Death Grips tracks do that.

Favourite track: Linda's In Custody

Rating:

Foo Fighters - The Colour And The Shape (1997)

I think I got this at the thrift store with my friend. He said it was a good listen.

Favourite track: Monkey Wrench

Rating:

Galactic Cowboys - At The End Of The Day (1998)

Not awful. Nothing I'd listen to and focus on, but that's why I thrifted this CD, right? Also, not bad background music.

Favourite track: Mr. Magnet

Rating:

Green Day - Dookie (1994)

Was recommended this to me, and I don't regret it! As a non-frequent pop punk listener, it's such a good album.

Bought this with a friend in mind.

Might've been my first introduction to nu metal, I adore Korn!!

Favourite track: Earache My Eye

Rating:

Korn - Untouchables (2002)

A lot of this album doesn't do much for me, but the tracks that do hit my ears so right.

Favourite track: Beat It Upright

Marilyn Manson - The Golden Age Of Grotesque (2003)

I regret buying this for two bucks at the thrift store. Manson is a cuck.

Literally one of my favourite albums of all time. My back patch is this cover.

Favourite track: For Whom The Bell Tolls

I think Trent Reznor killed it on this. It's an emotional album for me.

Favourite track: Terrible Lie

Rating:

Nirvana - Nevermind (1991)

You know, I'm not normally a huge Nirvana fan. I got this just to buy it and ask if the CD place was hiring, but sadly they weren't. Anyway, at least I can enjoy it from time to time.

I'm insanely jealous that my gym teacher said he owned this on cassette and got to see these dudes.

Favourite track: Superman's Dead

Rating:

Ozzy Osbourne - Speak Of The Devil (1982)

My first cassette! I love the feeling of them in my hands, hearing Ozzy himself on cassette felt special in a way! I haven't had the time to properly listen it over, working a cassette is still a little confusing, but I already know I like the music at least.

Favourite track: Never Say Die

Rating:

Petopia - Petony (2001)

Genuine cry for help, if anyone can find me any information on this band I'd be so thankful. I can't begin to process this album. They don't exist anywhere online, they're only real in my hands.

This was the first Rammstein album I ever heard, the opening track is such a powerful note to begin on.

Favourite track: Mein Herz Brennt

Rating:

Rammstein - Sehnsucht (1997)

Made me fall in love with Flake. The album wouldn't be nearly as good without the synths. Tied with Herzeleid on my favourite Rammstein albums.

Favourite track: Eifersucht

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication (1999)

I remember trying to download songs from this album onto my MP3 player before heading off to summer camp. They confiscated my MP3 player in the end, but this was a huge comfort album when I was young.

HONOURABLE MENTIONS

The CDs in which I've burned, or have without a proper case in some way reside here. I'll still include their album covers, they're too pretty not to. But aside from one that haven't had an official release, they're all pirated, so keep that in mind.

Chernobyl Wolves - For The Stranded... (2016)

I saw these dudes in December of 2019! Amazing show, my first moshpit... I'll never forget it.

Favourite track: Buffalo Bill

Rating:

Chernobyl Wolves - New Wolf Order (2019)

This CD case is signed by the vocalist. I might upload a photo when I get the chance.

I have a shirt with this album cover on it, too!

Favourite track: Rottweiler

Rating:

Insane Clown Posse - Riddle Box (1995)

You can clown on me all you want (pun!), but ICP has been one of my favourite duos for years.

There's a reason they've always earned my respect.

Favourite track: The Joker's Wild

Korn - Life Is Peachy (1996)

Burned this on my grandmother's computer. I'm sorry I infected her files with MP3 recordings of Jonathan Davis' screams.
